Northern Virginia Civil Rights Archive.
Collin Davenport, Regional Director at Office of Congressman Gerry Connolly, provided us with information at the October 10, 2013 Neabsco Action Alliance meeting regarding the Northern Virginia Civil Rights Archive. Congressman Connolly is asking Northern Virginians to volunteer their personal stories of struggle and achievement in commemoration of the 50th Anniversary (7/2/14) of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. If you’d like an idea of what we do at the Annual Neighborhood Conference, take a look at last year’s summary
The meeting will be held from 7:00-8:30pm in Room 202 on the second floor of the Development Services Building, 5 County Complex Ct. Prince William, VA 22192. We ask you join us for a social/networking half-hour from 6:30 to 7 pm.
The class is part of our continuing series for neighborhood leaders. The series offers residents the opportunity to learn effective strategies to help address concerns impacting their communities. All residents are invited and encouraged to attend. We also encourage HOA/COA leaders, civic group leaders and community leaders to attend and share information. Residents can form partnerships with other neighborhood leaders throughout the County to share their experiences to help others improve their neighborhoods within Prince William County.
